EN 1143-1 Grade I Certified Protection for up to 140 Keys

The Securikey Maximum Security Key Cabinet 1055-140K provides an exceptional level of protection for organisations responsible for keys giving access to high-value vehicles, buildings, secure areas or other critical assets.

Unlike a conventional steel key cabinet, the Maximum Security model is constructed around Securikey's independently tested safe technology and is certified to EN 1143-1 Security Grade I by the VdS test house.

This provides a recommended £10,000 overnight cash rating or £100,000 valuables rating, making it particularly appropriate where the potential consequences of key theft demand a much higher level of physical security.

Maximum Security for Critical Keys

The cabinet provides organised storage for up to 140 individual keys, protected within a substantial Grade I security enclosure.

A heavy-duty three-way square locking boltwork system secures the door, while continuous hinge-side protection helps resist attack from the opposite side.

The internal door pan is itself secured to prevent tampering with the locking mechanism.

The door opens through an impressive 205 degrees, providing excellent access to the internal key-storage system.

EN 1143-1 Grade I Certified

The Maximum Security Key Cabinet has been independently tested and certified by the VdS test house to EN 1143-1 Security Grade I.

Recommended Valuables Rating: £100,000

Although these ratings provide a useful indication of the cabinet's level of security, insurance cover remains subject to correct installation, individual circumstances and insurer approval.

High-Security Key Locking

The SFEG1055K-140K is supplied as standard with a CEN/VdS-approved high-security key lock and two keys. 

This provides straightforward mechanical access without reliance on batteries or an electrical supply.

Easy-Access Key Management

Inside the cabinet, the key panels are mounted on easy-slide telescopic runners, allowing users to access and identify individual keys efficiently despite the high level of physical protection surrounding them.

The system accommodates up to 140 individual keys, making it particularly suitable for organisations managing sensitive or high-value key inventories.

Additional Secure Storage

The cabinet also incorporates useful storage space beneath the key-management section.

An adjustable and removable shelf, adjustable at 50mm intervals, provides additional secure storage measuring:

This space can be used for documents, access-control equipment or other valuables that need to be protected alongside the keys. 

Motion-Sensitive Interior Lighting

A motion-sensitive internal light is included, illuminating the cabinet when accessed and making individual keys easier to identify in lower-light environments. 

Secure Installation

At 115kg, the Maximum Security Key Cabinet is a substantially constructed security product.

Twin fixing positions are incorporated and fixing bolts are supplied. Correct anchoring is important to maintain the intended level of protection and should be considered when selecting the final installation location.
