Shipping policy
SafeFort deliver our products by post, courier or by freight forwarding. The normal delivery times for most items is 7-15 working days unless otherwise indicated.
Larger items are delivered to the kerbside. This means that the goods delivered will be placed at the roadside and our delivery partners are not obliged to bring the goods to your doorstep or into your home.
For an additional fee, you can request that the larger items are placed where they are intended to be installed. If you need your safe to go up flights of stairs, that’s not a problem and can be quoted for in your order. We recommend that you contact us first to discuss your needs.
We can also arrange for safes to be professionally installed and anchored correctly to ensure that the insurance ratings are not invalidated. You can find details about this service below.
SafeFort provide kerbside delivery to UK Mainland addresses for all our products.
Mainland UK
We offer kerbside delivery to Mainland UK on every product on our website. For deliveries to the Islands and Highlands, Northern Island we may have additional costs and will confirm before completing your order.
Smaller Items
Items which weight less than 30Kg are normally delivered within 3-5 working days by courier or ParcelForce. You will receive advance notification of the delivery date and time with tracking options to suit your needs.
If you require Next Day, or Weekend delivery, please contact us before completing your order.
Items are only delivered to kerbside unless you have paid for additional services.
Deliveries are usually made Monday to Friday, between 09.00 and 18.00. If you are not available when an attempt is made, the courier will leave a note and/or you will get an email/text confirming that they have tried to deliver. You can then re-arrange delivery directly by following their instructions.
If you miss the delivery on a number of occasions, the item may be returned to the sender and you may be charged for any re-delivery attempts.
Larger Items
Items which weigh over 30Kg are delivered by specialist couriers and pallet handing services. You will receive full tracking information once the package has left the warehouse.
If you require Next Day, or Weekend delivery, please contact us before completing your order.

Professional Installation
Where possible, we highly recommend that you have your safe professionally installed by our certified installers. Not only will this save you the time and trouble of working out how to fix and operate your new safe, it will also ensure that the installation is in line with the requirements for any insurance certification.
Please note, that the standard rates are for ground floor installations only. If you require the safe to be installed in locations which involve going up flights of stairs, please speak to us first as the costs will vary.
Once you place and order, we will confirm your instructions with our installation partners who will then contact your directly to agree a time and date for your installation.
The team will arrive with your safe at the time agreed and install it correctly in the location of your choice. It can be installed wherever you want, as long as it can be accessed and does not involve more than one step en-route. (if you have stairs or lift access, please speak to us first).
They will ensure that the most appropriate type of fixing is used for the location (i.e. physical bolts or chemical anchoring) to comply with the normal requirements for insurance certification.
The team will also show you how to operate your safe and help with any initial code settings (if you have a digital lock options).
Most installations are completed within 1-2 weeks, depending on the client’s availability.
