The Burton FF Fireproof Filing Cabinet combines practical everyday document storage with independently certified 60-minute fire protection for paper records.

Certified to EN 15659 LFS 60P by ECB-S, the FF range has been tested at temperatures of up to 900°C, helping protect important business and personal documents against the devastating effects of fire.

Certified 60-Minute Fire Protection

This provides 60 minutes of certified fire protection for paper documents.

The cabinet uses a double-wall construction, with the cavity between the inner and outer walls filled with specialist fire-resistant material.

During testing, the cabinet is subjected to temperatures of up to 900°C, providing valuable protection for important paper records in the event of a building fire.

Designed for A4 & Foolscap Files

Unlike a conventional fire safe, the Burton FF is designed specifically around everyday filing.

Each drawer accommodates both A4 and Foolscap suspension files, making it easy to incorporate into an existing office filing system without transferring documents into boxes or folders each evening.

Each individual drawer can support up to 40kg of documents, making the FF suitable for substantial business archives and regularly accessed records.

Key or Electronic PIN Locking

Each cabinet is available with a choice of Key or Electronic PIN locking.

Key Locking

The key version uses a high-security laser-cut style cam lock and is supplied with two keys.

It provides simple, reliable mechanical access without batteries or electronic programming.

Electronic PIN Locking

The electronic version provides convenient keypad access using a programmable 6–8 digit code.

It supports both an Administrator Code and User Code, together with programmable time-delay functionality.

An external power facility using a 9V battery provides emergency power should the internal battery become depleted.

Individual Drawer Control

An especially useful feature of the Burton FF is the ability to control how individual drawers interact with the cabinet's central locking system.

Individual drawer latches allow selected drawers to be included or excluded from the central lock.

There is also the option to control individual drawers with their own high-security cam lock.

This provides greater flexibility for organisations where different documents require different levels of access control.

Anti-Tilt Safety System

The FF incorporates an anti-tilt mechanism, allowing only one drawer to be fully opened at a time.
