Grade 6 Certified | £150,000 Cash / £1,500,000 Valuables | Dual High-Security Locking
The Burton Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 6 is an exceptionally substantial professional high-security safe designed for the protection of significant cash holdings, jewellery, luxury watches and other very high-value assets.
Independently attack tested and certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 6, the Eurovault Atlas carries an exceptional recommended £150,000 cash / £1,500,000 valuables rating.
It is also AiS insurance approved and built to the UK Police Preferred Specification through Secured by Design, providing independently recognised protection for customers with particularly demanding security and insurance requirements.
With dual high-security locking as standard, substantial construction weighing between approximately 360kg and 1,230kg, and six capacities from 50 to 395 litres, the Atlas Grade 6 is designed for serious high-value residential and commercial security applications.
EN 1143-1 Grade 6 Certified Security
The Eurovault Atlas MKII has been independently attack tested and certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 6.
Grade 6 represents an exceptionally high level of recognised burglary resistance and is intended for applications where very substantial concentrations of cash, jewellery and other valuable assets require professional protection.
The Grade 6 certification provides a recommended:
£150,000 cash rating
or
£1,500,000 valuables rating
The safe is also:
- AiS insurance approved
- Built to the UK Police Preferred Specification – Secured by Design
- Independently certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 6
This combination makes the Atlas Grade 6 particularly appropriate for customers protecting exceptionally valuable assets or where an insurer specifies a very high security grade.
£150,000 Cash / £1.5 Million Valuables Rating
With a recommended £1.5 million valuables rating, the Eurovault Atlas Grade 6 is particularly well suited to substantial collections of jewellery and luxury watches.
Typical applications include:
- High-value jewellery collections
- Luxury watches and watch collections
- Cash
- Precious metals
- High-value collectables
- Important documents
- Commercial cash holdings
- High-value stock
- Other exceptionally valuable residential or business assets
At this level of security, we strongly recommend discussing the proposed safe, installation, alarm system and value of the contents with your insurer before ordering.
Dual High-Security Locking as Standard
Reflecting its exceptionally high Grade 6 security level, the Eurovault Atlas MKII incorporates dual locking as standard.
The locking system can be configured using an appropriate combination of high-security Key and/or Electronic locks, allowing the safe to be specified around the customer's access-control requirements.
Any alternative lock configuration must conform to the appropriate EN 1300 Class C requirements for this Grade 6 safe.
This is an important distinction from lower grades within the Atlas range and reflects the increased security requirements associated with EN 1143-1 Grade 6 certification.
Advanced Electronic Locking Options
For demanding applications, specialist electronic locking configurations can provide additional access-control functionality.
Depending on the system specified, options may include features such as:
- Multiple authorised users
- Time Delay
- Time-controlled access
- Audit functionality
- Duress functionality
These features can be particularly useful for commercial environments or high-value private installations where access to the safe needs to be carefully controlled.
Please contact SafeFort if you require a specific electronic locking configuration.
Optional Duress Protection
For higher-risk applications, an optional Duress Box can be specified with an appropriate electronic locking system.
If an authorised user is forced to open the safe, a designated emergency code can allow the safe to be opened while simultaneously signalling a suitably configured alarm or monitoring system.
This provides an additional layer of protection for environments where the personal security of authorised safe users also needs to be considered.
Duress and alarm functionality should always be designed in conjunction with the customer's alarm provider and insurer.
Exceptionally Substantial Construction
The Eurovault Atlas MKII is engineered specifically for demanding professional security applications.
Even the smallest Grade 6 model weighs approximately 360kg, while the largest weighs approximately 1,230kg.
This substantial construction, combined with dual high-security locking and Grade 6 attack resistance, makes the Atlas a very different proposition from a conventional domestic security safe.
The range is particularly suited to installations where the value of the contents justifies a substantial, professionally installed security solution.
Six Sizes – 50 to 395 Litres
The Burton Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 6 is available in six sizes.
Every model provides the same EN 1143-1 Grade 6 certified protection and recommended £150,000 cash / £1,500,000 valuables rating.
Height-Adjustable Shelving
Height-adjustable shelving allows the Atlas interior to be configured around the possessions being protected.
This is particularly useful for:
- Jewellery boxes
- Watch cases
- Cash containers
- Document boxes
- High-value stock
- Collectables
- Other items of varying dimensions
Depending on the size selected, the safe is supplied with between one and three adjustable shelves.
Optional Left-Hand Hinged Door
The Atlas is normally supplied with its standard door orientation.
Where room layout, furniture or the proposed installation position makes this unsuitable, an optional left-hand hinged configuration is available.
Additional manufacturing lead time and cost may apply.
Please contact SafeFort before ordering where a left-hand hinged safe is required.
Secure Base Fixing
Correct installation is an essential part of achieving the intended level of protection from a Grade 6 safe.
The Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 6 incorporates base fixing provision, allowing it to be securely anchored to an appropriate structural floor.
This is an important distinction from the Grade 5 Atlas, which Burton lists with both back and base fixing.
Given weights ranging from approximately 360kg to 1,230kg, careful consideration should be given to:
- Delivery and access route
- Door and corridor dimensions
- Steps and stairs
- Floor loading
- Final positioning
- Structural anchoring
- Required locking configuration
- Alarm and security-system requirements
For the Atlas Grade 6, professional delivery and installation is strongly recommended.
SafeFort Recommendation
The Burton Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 6 is one of the highest-security safes within the SafeFort range and is particularly suited to customers protecting exceptionally valuable jewellery, luxury watches, cash and other significant assets.
Its EN 1143-1 Grade 6 certification and recommended £150,000 cash / £1.5 million valuables rating place it substantially above conventional domestic and commercial security safes.
For private customers, the compact 50-litre Size 1 is particularly interesting. Despite its relatively modest external dimensions, it weighs approximately 360kg and provides exactly the same Grade 6 certified protection as the much larger models.
For substantial jewellery and luxury watch collections, the 105, 130 and 230-litre models provide progressively greater storage while retaining the same exceptionally high security rating.
The larger 330 and 395-litre models are exceptionally substantial safes weighing over one tonne and are particularly suited to extensive private collections or demanding commercial applications.
Dual locking is standard across the range, while the EN 1300 Class C locking requirement reflects the increased security level of this Grade 6 safe.
Optional advanced electronic locking and Duress functionality can also allow the Atlas to form part of a wider professionally designed security system.
Unlike the Atlas Grade 5, Burton does not currently state certified LFS fire protection for the Grade 6 model. Customers requiring both Grade 6 burglary protection and certified document fire protection should therefore discuss their requirements with SafeFort before ordering.
Given the security level, physical weight and potential value of the contents being protected, SafeFort strongly recommends professional installation and consultation with your insurer before purchase.
The proposed location, access route, floor loading, structural anchoring, alarm requirements and locking configuration should all be considered as part of the specification process.
For customers requiring an exceptionally substantial Grade 6 high-security safe with £1.5 million recommended valuables protection and dual professional locking, the Burton Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 6 is an outstanding choice.
Made to order in the UK, These safes have a 2-6 week lead time.
