The Burton Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 4 is a formidable professional high-security safe designed for the protection of substantial cash holdings, jewellery, watches and other high-value assets within demanding residential and commercial environments.
Independently attack tested and LPCB certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 4, the Eurovault Atlas MKII combines exceptionally substantial construction with dual locking as standard, providing a major step up from conventional high-security safes.
It is also AiS insurance approved and built to the UK Police Preferred Specification through Secured by Design, providing independently recognised protection for customers with demanding insurance and security requirements.
Available in seven sizes from 38 to 395 litres, with weights ranging from approximately 320kg to 1,150kg, the Atlas Grade 4 is particularly suited to substantial jewellery and watch collections, high-value residential applications and demanding commercial environments.
EN 1143-1 Grade 4 Certified Security
The Eurovault Atlas MKII has been independently attack tested and certified by LPCB to EN 1143-1 Grade 4.
Grade 4 represents a very high level of independently verified resistance against physical attack and is designed for applications where substantially greater protection is required than that provided by lower-grade security safes.
The safe is also:
- AiS insurance approved
- Built to the UK Police Preferred Specification – Secured by Design
- Independently certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 4
This combination makes the Atlas particularly suitable for protecting significant quantities of jewellery, luxury watches, cash and other high-value assets.
Designed for High-Value Assets
The Eurovault Atlas Grade 4 is particularly well suited to customers protecting substantial concentrations of valuable possessions.
Typical applications include:
- High-value jewellery collections
- Luxury watches and watch collections
- Cash
- Precious metals
- High-value collectables
- Important documents
- Commercial cash holdings
- High-value stock
- Other valuable residential or business assets
For private customers, the exceptionally broad range of sizes allows the safe to be specified around anything from a compact high-value collection to a very substantial secure storage requirement.
For businesses, the Atlas provides the capacity and construction required for demanding retail, commercial and professional environments.
Dual High-Security Locking as Standard
The Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 4 incorporates dual locking as standard, reflecting the increased security requirements of this professional safe range.
Locking can be configured using an appropriate combination of high-security Key and/or Electronic locks.
This allows the safe to be specified around the customer's preferred access-control requirements while maintaining the locking standard required for its Grade 4 certification.
Depending on the application, configurations can include:
Dual Key Locking
Two independent high-security key locks provide straightforward mechanical security without reliance on batteries or access codes.
Dual Electronic Locking
Two high-security electronic locks provide convenient PIN-code access and can be particularly useful where keyless operation or enhanced access control is required.
Exceptionally Substantial Construction
The Atlas MKII has been designed specifically for demanding high-security applications.
Depending on the size selected, the safe weighs between approximately 320kg and 1,150kg, providing an indication of the substantial construction required to achieve its Grade 4 attack-resistance certification.
The range incorporates dual locking together with a high-security multi-bolt locking system designed to resist sophisticated physical attack.
Seven Sizes – 38 to 395 Litres
One of the principal advantages of the Eurovault Atlas range is its exceptionally broad choice of sizes.
Height-Adjustable Shelving
Height-adjustable internal shelving allows the Atlas to be configured around the items being protected rather than forcing valuable possessions into fixed storage spaces.
This is particularly useful for jewellery boxes, watch cases, document boxes, cash containers, high-value stock and other items of varying dimensions.
Depending on size, the safe is supplied with between one and three adjustable shelves.
Alarm Integration
The Eurovault Atlas incorporates a cable access hole for alarm connection.
For high-value installations, this allows the safe to be incorporated into a wider security system where required by the customer or insurer.
At this level of security, we recommend discussing alarm requirements with both your insurer and security-system provider before installation.
Optional Left-Hand Hinged Door
The standard Atlas is supplied in its normal right-hand hinged configuration.
For locations where room layout, furniture or access makes this unsuitable, an optional left-hand hinged door is available.
Additional cost and manufacturing lead time may apply.
Please contact SafeFort before ordering if a left-hand hinged configuration is required.
Secure Back & Base Fixing
Correct installation is an essential part of achieving the intended level of security.
The Eurovault Atlas MKII incorporates back and base fixing provision, allowing the safe to be securely anchored to an appropriate structural surface.
With individual models weighing between approximately 320kg and 1,150kg, careful consideration should be given to:
- Delivery access
- Door and corridor dimensions
- Stairs and changes in floor level
- Floor loading
- Final positioning
- Structural anchoring
- Alarm connections where required
For this range, professional installation is strongly recommended.
SafeFort can provide professional delivery and installation options to ensure that both the access route and final installation are properly considered.
SafeFort Recommendation
The Burton Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 4 is an exceptional choice for customers whose security requirements extend beyond conventional domestic and commercial safes.
Its EN 1143-1 Grade 4 certification, LPCB independent testing, AiS approval and Secured by Design status provide a very high level of independently recognised protection.
Where the Atlas particularly distinguishes itself from the Eurovault Aver range is its exceptionally substantial construction, dual locking and extensive choice of capacities.
The compact 38 and 50-litre Sizes 0 and 1 are particularly interesting for high-value residential applications. Despite their relatively modest dimensions, they weigh approximately 320kg and 350kg respectively and provide the same Grade 4 certified protection as the larger models.
For substantial jewellery and luxury watch collections, Sizes 2 to 4 provide 105 to 230 litres of flexible secure storage.
The larger 276 and 395-litre Sizes 5 and 6 are exceptionally substantial safes, particularly suited to large private collections or demanding commercial applications.
The provision for alarm integration is another important advantage for high-value installations, particularly where an insurer requires the safe to form part of a monitored security system.
Given the weight, value and security level of the Eurovault Atlas range, SafeFort strongly recommends professional installation and consultation with your insurer before ordering. The proposed location, access route, floor loading, anchoring requirements and alarm integration should all be considered as part of the specification process.
For customers requiring an exceptionally substantial Grade 4 high-security safe with dual locking, extensive capacity options and recognised UK security approvals, the Burton Eurovault Atlas MKII Grade 4 is an outstanding choice.
Made to order in the UK, with a 2-4 week lead time.
