Grade 7 Certified | £250,000 Cash / £2,500,000 Valuables | Burton's Highest Security Safe
The Burton Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 MKII represents the highest level of certified security within the Burton safe range and is designed for the protection of exceptionally valuable jewellery, luxury watches, cash and other high-value assets.
Independently attack tested and certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 7, the Eurovault Atlas carries an exceptional recommended £250,000 cash / £2,500,000 valuables rating.
It is also AiS insurance approved and built to the UK Police Preferred Specification through Secured by Design, providing independently recognised protection for customers with the most demanding security and insurance requirements.
With dual high-security locking as standard, exceptionally substantial construction weighing from approximately 970kg to 1,920kg, and four capacities from 120 to 305 litres, the Atlas Grade 7 is designed for serious high-value residential, commercial and professional security installations.
EN 1143-1 Grade 7 Certified Security
The Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 MKII has been independently attack tested and certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 7.
Grade 7 represents the highest security grade available within the Burton range and provides exceptional resistance against sophisticated physical attack.
The Grade 7 certification carries a recommended:
£250,000 cash rating
or
£2,500,000 valuables rating
The safe is also:
- AiS insurance approved
- Built to the UK Police Preferred Specification – Secured by Design
- Independently certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 7
This makes the Atlas Grade 7 particularly suitable for customers protecting exceptionally valuable assets or where an insurer specifies the highest levels of certified safe security.
£250,000 Cash / £2.5 Million Valuables Rating
With a recommended £2.5 million valuables rating, the Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 is particularly well suited to substantial concentrations of high-value assets.
Typical applications include:
- Exceptional jewellery collections
- Luxury watches and watch collections
- Cash
- Precious metals
- High-value collectables
- Valuable commercial stock
- Important documents
- Other exceptionally valuable residential or business assets
For private customers, this can include substantial jewellery and watch collections where the combined value extends beyond the recommended limits of lower security grades.
For commercial and professional customers, the Atlas Grade 7 provides an exceptional level of certified protection for environments handling particularly valuable assets.
At this security level, SafeFort strongly recommends confirming the required grade, insured value, alarm requirements and installation specification with your insurer before ordering.
Dual High-Security Locking as Standard
Reflecting its exceptional Grade 7 security level, the Eurovault Atlas incorporates dual high-security locking as standard.
The safe can be configured with an appropriate combination of Key and/or Electronic locking, depending on the customer's access-control requirements.
Any lock alterations must conform to the appropriate EN 1300 Class C requirements.
This provides an exceptionally high level of locking security while allowing the safe to be configured around the way authorised users need to access the contents.
Advanced Electronic Locking Options
For demanding installations, specialist electronic locking systems can provide more sophisticated access-control functionality.
Depending on the locking system specified, options may include:
- Multiple authorised users
- Time Delay
- Time-controlled access
- Audit functionality
- Duress functionality
These options can be particularly valuable within commercial environments or substantial private installations where access to exceptionally valuable contents needs to be carefully managed.
Please contact SafeFort if you require a specific electronic locking or access-control configuration.
Optional Duress Protection
For higher-risk applications, the Atlas Grade 7 can be specified with an optional Duress Box and appropriate electronic locking system.
Where an authorised user is being forced to open the safe, an emergency code can allow the safe to be opened while simultaneously signalling an appropriately configured alarm or monitoring system.
This provides an additional layer of protection where both the security of the contents and the personal safety of authorised users need to be considered.
Any Duress or alarm functionality should be designed in conjunction with the customer's security provider and insurer.
Exceptionally Substantial Construction
The physical construction of the Atlas Grade 7 immediately distinguishes it from lower-grade safes.
The smallest 120-litre model weighs approximately 970kg, while the largest Grade 7 weighs approximately 1,920kg.
This exceptional mass reflects the substantial barrier construction required to achieve the safe's Grade 7 attack resistance.
For comparison, the smallest Atlas Grade 6 weighs approximately 360kg. The smallest Grade 7 is therefore already approaching one tonne.
The Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 should consequently be considered a professionally specified security installation rather than simply a freestanding safe.
Four Sizes – 120 to 305 Litres
The Burton Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 MKII is available in four substantial sizes.
Every size provides the same EN 1143-1 Grade 7 certified security and recommended £250,000 cash / £2,500,000 valuables rating.
Height-Adjustable Shelving
Each Atlas Grade 7 is supplied with a height-adjustable internal shelf.
The shelf can be repositioned to suit different combinations of jewellery boxes, watch cases, cash containers, document boxes, collectables and other high-value possessions.
Optional Left-Hand Hinged Door
The Atlas Grade 7 is normally supplied in its standard door configuration.
Where the proposed room layout or installation position makes this unsuitable, an optional left-hand hinged door is available.
Additional manufacturing lead time and cost may apply.
Please contact SafeFort before ordering if a left-hand hinged configuration is required.
Secure Base Fixing
Correct installation is essential to achieving the intended level of protection from a Grade 7 safe.
The Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 incorporates base fixing provision, allowing it to be securely anchored to an appropriate structural floor.
Given weights of approximately 970kg to 1,920kg, the installation requires careful consideration of:
- Delivery access
- Door and corridor dimensions
- Stairs and changes in floor level
- Floor loading and structural suitability
- Final positioning
- Structural anchoring
- Locking configuration
- Alarm and monitoring requirements
For the Eurovault Atlas Grade 7, professional delivery and installation should be considered essential.
SafeFort Recommendation
The Burton Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 MKII represents the pinnacle of the Burton high-security safe range.
Its EN 1143-1 Grade 7 certification and recommended £250,000 cash / £2.5 million valuables rating make it particularly appropriate for customers protecting exceptional jewellery and luxury watch collections, substantial cash holdings or other extremely high-value assets.
The physical construction is equally impressive. Even the smallest 120-litre model weighs approximately 970kg, while the largest approaches two tonnes.
Dual locking is standard across the range, while EN 1300 Class C locking requirements and optional advanced electronic and Duress functionality allow the Atlas to become part of a wider professionally designed security system.
At this level, choosing the correct safe is only one part of the security solution. SafeFort strongly recommends consultation with your insurer and professional installation before ordering.
The proposed location, access route, structural floor loading, anchoring, locking configuration and any alarm or monitoring requirements should all be established before the safe is manufactured and delivered.
For customers requiring the highest certified security level available within the Burton range, with a recommended £2.5 million valuables rating and exceptionally substantial construction, the Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 MKII is the definitive choice.
Eurovault Atlas Grade 7 safes are made to order with a 2-6 week lead time.
