Grade 1 Certified | £10,000 Cash / £100,000 Valuables | Key or Electronic Lock
The Burton Amario Grade 1 is a premium high-security safe designed for customers requiring independently certified protection for jewellery, luxury watches, cash and other valuable possessions.
Independently tested and ECB-S certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 1, the Amario Grade 1 carries a recommended £10,000 cash / £100,000 valuables rating and is both AiS insurance approved and built to the UK Police Preferred Specification through Secured by Design.
Available in three sizes from 20 to 76 litres, with a choice of high-security Key or Electronic locking, the Amario combines substantial security with practical internal storage and understated styling suitable for both premium residential and commercial environments.
EN 1143-1 Grade 1 Certified Security
The Burton Amario has been independently attack tested and certified by ECB-S to EN 1143-1 Grade 1.
Grade 1 provides a substantial level of recognised burglary resistance and carries a recommended £10,000 cash rating or £100,000 valuables rating.
This makes the Amario particularly well suited to protecting:
- High-value jewellery
- Luxury watches
- Cash
- Collectables
- Important personal possessions
- Confidential documents
- Other valuable contents
For customers protecting significant jewellery or watch collections, recognised Grade 1 certification provides valuable independent reassurance over and above the protection offered by a conventional domestic safe.
£10,000 Cash / £100,000 Valuables Rating
The recommended £100,000 valuables rating makes the Amario Grade 1 an excellent choice for substantial jewellery and watch collections.
The range is also insurance approved by the Association of Insurance Surveyors (AiS) and built to the Police Preferred Specification – Secured by Design, providing further reassurance when selecting a safe for higher-value insured possessions.
Despite its substantial construction, the Amario has been designed with relatively compact external dimensions, allowing high-security protection to be incorporated discreetly within many residential and professional environments.
Choice of Key or Electronic Locking
Every Amario Grade 1 size is available with a choice of high-security Key or Electronic locking.
Key Lock
The key-locking models feature a high-security 11-lever double-bitted key lock, with two keys supplied.
Traditional key locking provides straightforward, dependable operation without reliance on batteries or access codes and is an excellent choice where physical key control is preferred.
Electronic Lock
The electronic models provide convenient PIN-code access and incorporate a useful LED light, making the keypad easier to operate when the safe is installed inside a wardrobe, cupboard or other darker location.
The electronic lock is powered by a 9V battery with external battery access, allowing power to be supplied from outside the safe should the internal battery become exhausted.
The electronic lock incorporates Master and User Code functionality together with a low-battery warning.
Substantial Security Construction
The Amario Grade 1 has been engineered around substantial physical security.
The safe incorporates a 12mm-thick steel door with a substantial 55mm back-pan cover, providing formidable protection around the door and locking mechanism.
A three-way locking system with 25mm diameter locking bolts secures the door from multiple directions.
A fixed dog bolt on the hinge side provides additional protection against hinge attacks, helping ensure that the door remains secured even if the external hinges are targeted.
Three Sizes to Suit Your Requirements
The Burton Amario Grade 1 is available in three sizes. Every size carries the same EN 1143-1 Grade 1 certification and recommended £10,000 cash / £100,000 valuables rating.
Practical Internal Storage
The compact Size 1 incorporates one removable shelf, while Sizes 2 and 3 are supplied with two adjustable shelves.
This allows the larger models to be configured around different combinations of jewellery boxes, watch cases, documents and other valuable possessions.
The generous capacities of the larger Amario models make them particularly useful where customers have outgrown the storage available in a more compact home safe but do not require a higher insurance grade.
Secure Floor & Wall Fixing
Correct installation is essential with an independently certified Grade 1 safe.
The Amario incorporates back and base fixing provision, allowing the safe to be securely anchored to an appropriate structural floor or wall.
A fixing bolt suitable for concrete installation is supplied.
Correct anchoring is required to maintain the intended security certification and associated recommended insurance rating.
Given the substantial weight of the larger models and the value of contents likely to be protected, professional installation is strongly recommended.
SafeFort Recommendation
The Burton Amario Grade 1 is an excellent choice for customers looking for a substantial, premium security safe to protect high-value jewellery, luxury watches, cash and other valuable possessions.
Its combination of EN 1143-1 Grade 1 certification, £100,000 recommended valuables rating, AiS insurance approval and Secured by Design status provides recognised protection suitable for demanding residential and professional applications.
The compact 20-litre Size 1 is an excellent choice where installation space is limited but substantial Grade 1 security is required.
For larger jewellery and watch collections, the 58-litre Size 2 provides a significant increase in usable capacity with two adjustable shelves, while the 76-litre Size 3 provides the greatest storage capacity for substantial collections or commercial requirements.
The choice between Key and Electronic locking is another important advantage over some Grade 1 home safes. Choose the Key Lock for straightforward traditional access, or the Electronic Lock for convenient PIN-code operation and an illuminated keypad.
For customers who require the same £100,000 valuables rating as the Burton Home Safe G1 MKII but prefer a larger, heavier and more substantial premium safe with greater storage capacity and a choice of locking systems, the Amario Grade 1 is an excellent alternative.
Where the value of the contents exceeds the Grade 1 recommendation, the Burton Amario Grade 2 provides the natural next step within the range.
